MORNING SERVICE every Sunday at 10.30am
EVENING SERVICE the last Sunday of every month at 6.30pm
We meet at 10.30am every Sunday morning and our service lasts around and hour and 15 minutes or so. We use a variety of praise in our worship, love children to be involved and a significant part of our time together is taken up with teaching from the Bible. We believe that God speaks through the Bible to us and by His Holy Spirit shapes our lives. Our challenge then is to live out the message of His Word in the week that lies ahead. Our services are a time to worship, pray and grow together as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
St Catherine’s is a place where people of all ages find a home together. We love to welcome visitors, so whether you’re studying or working in Edinburgh, passing through or staying we’ll try our best to make you feel really welcome here.
There is always a crèche and activities provided for primary school-age children throughout the service.
At the end of our morning service there is always an opportunity to stay on for tea and coffee. This is a great opportunity to chat and deepen our fellowship together. It is also a time for sharing and if you’d like to pray with someone, the minister or elders will gladly take time to listen to you and pray.
Every now and again we make time to have lunch together as a congregation and these are great occasions, not to be missed.
On the last Sunday of every month we have a service at 6.30pm. These are very different to our morning services and have a reflective and contemplative feel to them.
